And with Fire came Disparity. Heat and cold, life and death, and of course.. Light and Dark.

Then, from the Dark, They came
And found the Souls of Lords within the flame.

Nito, the first of the dead
The Witch of Izalith, and her daughters of chaos
Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights
And the furtive pygmy, so easily forgotten

With the Strength of Lords, they challenged the dragons.

Gwyn's mighty bolts peeled apart their stone scales
The witches weaved great firestorms
Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease

And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the dragons were no more
Thus began the Age of Fire

But soon, the flames will fade, and only Dark will remain

Even now, there are only embers, and man sees not light, but only endless nights
And amongst the living are seen, carriers of the accursed Darksign.

Kingseeker Frampt:
Chosen Undead. Your fate is… to succeed the Great Lord Gwyn.
So that you may link the Fire, cast away the Dark, and undo the curse of the Undead.

Darkstalker Kaathe:
I seek to right the wrongs of the past to discover our true Lord.
But the other serpent, Frampt, lost his sense, and befriended Lord Gwyn.
Undead warrior, we stand at the crossroad.
Only I know the truth about your fate.
You must destroy the fading Lord Gwyn, who has coddled Fire and resisted nature,
and become the Fourth Lord, so that you may usher in the Age of Dark!

Kingseeker Frampt:
Ahh, hello. Was it you who rang the Bell of Awakening?
I am the Primordial Serpent, Kingseeker Frampt, close friend of the Great Lord Gwyn.
Chosen Undead, who has rung the Bell of Awakening.
I wish to elucidate your fate.
Do you seek such enlightenment?

Darkstalker Kaathe:
Greetings Undead Warrior
I am the Primordial Serpent Darkstalker Kaathe
I can guide thee, and illuminate the truth.
Undead Warrior, conqueror of the Four Kings, is this not your wish?
To know the truth of men, and the Undead?

O Heretic, swathed in Dark…

Misty (puts down Tarot cards): The Fool.
V: What a surprise…
Misty: Let's dig deeper to find it's meaning here. The Fool symbolizes the start of a journey, the announcement of something new. It's the inner child – curious of the world, but also naive and reckless. Sounds a lot like the V I first met. *pulls out a new card* The Magician. A person of great talent and charisma. A leader.
V: Sounds like Johnny.
Misty: But the card is reversed. That can mean a tendency toward addiction… mental instability…
V: Ok, definitely Johnny. He's one great disturbance.
Misty: The final cards are about your futures. *Pulls out a card* The Devil.
V: Ooh, got another deck lying around? A cheerful one?
Misty: This is no joke, V. An inverted Devil symbolizes subjugation. Losing control. Agression, evil, a power struggle. Whatever you are planning, treat this as a warning.
V: Okay. And Johnny's?
Misty: *pulls out card* The Moon.
V: Well… that doesn't sound too bad, right?
Misty: I don't know, V. The Moon is mistery.

Misty: Some believe uncertainty is an evil, that should be dispelled through divination. Other's claim, it's change, that is evil. But that isn't true either. Every minute of every day, we each become someone new.
